Snowman Trek

This spectacular trek is the most challenging in Bhutan and one of the most difficult high altitude treks across the Himalayas. It is only carried out by a small number of trekkers each season. During the course of this 25day trek you will cross through 11 high passes over 4,500 that mark the border between Bhutan and Tibet. You will also visit the mountain Kingdom of Lunana, one of the most remote inhabited valleys in the world. The route leads you through quaint villages and Budhdhist monasteries with an unforgettable backdrop of 6000m and 7000m peaks including Chomolhari, the astounding Jitsu Drake and the World’s highest unclimbed peak, Gangkar Puensum.
