Drive up to one of the highest hill stations in India home to the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway World Heritage Site and of course the mighty Kanchenjunga; the world’s third highest peak. You will get to visit all the major sights Darjeeling has to offer and then ride your motorbike down through winding rough roads tour to bring you to Sikkim, a landlocked Indian state that was itself a Kingdom up until the 1970s. Here be prepared to be awe struck as you ride through high mountain roads and deep valleys. You will visit all the historic and cultural sites as well plenty of Buddhist monasteries. We will stop overnight in the lively capital Gangtok before moving on to the magnificent Kingdom of Bhutan.

Day 01: Arrive New Jalpaiguri/Bagdogra). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Bagdogra to Kalimpong (Approx. 79 Km). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Ride Kalimpong to Darjeeling (Approx. 60 Km). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: Darjeeling Exploration. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Ride Darjeeling to Pemagyantse (Approx. 73 Km). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Ride Pemagyantse to Gangtok (Approx. 117 Km). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Ride Gangtok to Phuentsholing (Approx. 242 Km). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Phuentsholing – Paro (Approx. 200 Km). Overnight at Paro.
Day 09: Tiger’s nest hike. Explore Paro valley and ride to Haa Valley via Chelila Pass. Overnight at Haa Valley.
Day 10: Hall Valley sightseeing and ride to Thimpu (Approx. 109 Km). Overnight at Thimpu.
Day 11: Thimpu Sightseeing (Approx. 70 Km). Dinner and Overnight at Thimpu.
Day 12: Thimpu – Punakha – Wangdi (Approx. 94 Km). Overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Wangdue to Trongsa (Approx. 129 Km). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14: Trongsa to Gelephu (Approx. 244 Km). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 15: Gelephu to Bagdogra (Approx. 322 Km). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 16: Final Departure.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Payment Policy – The price trip is quoted in US$ and can be paid either by cash (we accept INR, EUR, USD, AUS) at the current public rate against the US$. We also accept credit and debit card payment. We use mobile POS system with the availability of payments to be made wherever there is GSM (i.e. mobile phone) service within India. Please note that all cards are subject to bank charges of between 2.5% to 3.5%. We honor Master card, visa and maestro cards only. A DEPOSIT of 15% of the overall cost will need to be paid to secure your place.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY 

Cancellation by client ; In case of cancellation the initial booking amount is a non refundable deposit. There will be $50 USD payable if you transfer your tour dates to another fixed departure date that we offer provided we have availability on it.

There will be no refund of any kind if I leave the tour – voluntarily or involuntarily- after the trip has started.

– Cancellation by company; I accept that Adventures Unlimited has the right to cancel the trip without any prior notice  for any reasons deemed appropriate by them. If this is to happen I will receive a full refund of the money I have paid

– Trip alteration or termination. I accept that Adventures Unlimited has the right to alter or terminate the trip for reasons beyond their control. This may include reasons for my personal safety. In this event I will not hold Adventures Unlimited liable in any way to refund my money.

 

INSURANCE

The traveler is required to buy his/her own travel insurance prior to the trip.
